Our History

Growing up in Sarnia Brad & Mike attended Northern Collegiate High School together and became good friends.

From there they went on to fulfill their own aspirations in different professions. Brad worked in construction from his early 20’s learning all aspects of civil, commercial and residential construction; from building bridges, to complex home additions that required a critical eye for engineering, Brad has done it all which makes his hands on experience invaluable.

Mike went on to college and took a three year business program majoring in Accounting with an emphasis on Marketing and Human Resources.  After college, Mike worked for several years within the family business, learning fundamental business practices and gaining practical experience. He later decided to leave  J.V. Wiltshire Ltd to pursue his true calling in Real Estate in 2012. In 2018, Mike was awarded Royal LePage’s highest accolade as a sales agent, receiving the “Chairman’s Club” designation awarded to the top 1% of agents across Canada - among 18,000+ agents.

With both of them successful in their own right, they set out together to build a company they felt Sarnia needed. Merging their skill sets, they formed SGC Modern Homes Inc. that specializes in bringing modern big-city architectural design to Sarnia.
